Club penguin started out as a Virtual Chat room called “Penguin Chat.” The beginning of the logo statement was “Waddle around and meet new friends!”, which we all know and see today. Penguin chat featured somethings we know in Club penguin today, like Hydro Hopper, Mancala, and Ninja!

Somewhere along the line, penguin chat turned into, Club Penguin! Recently in 2008, Club Penguin was bought by Disney. Disney has also brought toys and and other merchandise to stores for all Club Penguin lovers.
